Withdrawal Policy

This withdrawal policy applies to consumers. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes which predominantly can be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional activity (§ 13 BGB (German Civil Code)).

Important note: Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for custom-made products

There is no right of withdrawal for goods manufactured individually according to your wishes or specifications.

Under § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

This applies to our individually engineered conversion modules and roof racks manufactured to customer specification (custom-made products), which are produced on the basis of an individual quote and according to your personal requirements (e.g. vehicle type, dimensions, configuration) — but likewise to any accessory item that is designated in the online shop as a made-to-measure item or as “On request”, as well as any item for which you select the “Custom adaptation” option. As these goods are manufactured specifically for you and cannot be used elsewhere, withdrawal is excluded. We point this out to you separately before the contract is concluded.

For prefabricated accessories, which we offer in the online shop at fixed prices with a stated delivery time, the right of withdrawal described below applies without restriction.

Withdrawal policy for prefabricated accessories (goods)

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

If you have ordered several goods as part of a single order which are delivered separately, the withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us

without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Withdrawal policy for services and works (conversion projects)

This policy applies to the services and works component of conversion projects, that is in particular to engineering design, installation, fitting, commissioning as well as support with the technical vehicle inspection and the registration on a vehicle already owned by you, insofar as the contract was concluded by distance selling or off premises.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

No return of goods takes place in respect of the services and works component.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

In the case of a contract for the provision of services, your right of withdrawal expires prematurely if we have fully performed the service and only began performing it after you had given your express consent to this and at the same time confirmed your knowledge that you would lose your right of withdrawal upon complete performance of the contract by us (§ 356 para. 4 BGB).

Custom-made products within the project

For goods manufactured individually according to your wishes or specifications within the scope of a conversion project (in particular conversion modules and roof racks), there is no right of withdrawal under § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB. The right of withdrawal described above therefore extends only to the services and works component of the project; for the custom-made products manufactured, the exclusion under the section “Important note: Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for custom-made products” above applies. We point out this division to you separately before the contract is concluded.
